Mr. Kojo Ohene - Kyei

Chief Executive Officer

Kojo is a practical and results oriented leader with extensive experience in financial services. He has a solid record of accomplishment in business risk management, corporate finance, and human resource development. He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of IFS Capital Management Limited (authorized Financial Institution, regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Ghana).

He has a wide-ranging business management and leadership experience, having served in various leadership roles prior to the establishment of IFS. His recent leadership experiences include:

• Barclays Bank of Ghana where he served for several years, including four years on the country executive team. As a senior member of the Barclays Ghana team, he spearheaded the risk management agenda for three years providing powerful leadership in the Bank’s drive to grow its business portfolio within a robust Governance, Risk Management and compliance culture. The establishment of a strong governance, risk management and compliance culture led to the development of a strong and healthy portfolio. Prior to that, Kojo served as Business Banking Director of Barclays, and led wide-ranging business transformation initiatives.
• Mentor and Trainer: Kojo is widely recognized by colleagues and former employers as a people developer and trainer of young talent. Under his leadership, several young people have achieved significant career growth. He also serves as moderator of the Chartered Institute of Bankers’ final examinations on Lending. 

Kojo is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (FCIB) in Ghana and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB) in UK. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Henley Management College, UK.
